UNCF is pleased to announce $20 million gift established the UNCF STEM Scholars Program, an initiative designed to identify and provide financial and academic support to five cohorts of 100 students (a total of 500) who are African-American college freshmen and who aspire to earn Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) degrees and pursue careers in STEM fields. Each student will receive a $25,000 scholarship and support toward assuring their success.
