THE ROSENWALD “ROBBIE”  ROBERTSON SCHOLARSHIP             

This annual award is made to African American students from the Sacramento area community who meet the standards of academic achievement, community service, and commitment to the African American community exemplified by the life of the late Sacramento City Councilman, Rosenwald “Robbie” Robertson. The scholarship awards for $500.00 each will be awarded on May 2022.

 

Applicants must have graduated from a Sacramento area high school by the end of the spring term, 2021. Applicants must demonstrate a record of service to the African American community, and a record of academic achievement and leadership. This award is available to recent high school graduates and returning college/university  students. Evidence of admission to a higher education institution, or continuing enrollment status in a college/university must be provided.
