Dear Friend,
Thank you for subscribing to the Black Parallel School Board (BPSB) website and newsletter.
Since its founding in 2008, BPSB has monitored and supported the growth and achievement of African American students in and outside of the Sacramento Unified School District (SCUSD).
We recently upgraded our website, and we will regularly keep you and our other subscribers and BPSB members updated about the programs, activities, and challenges we're working on, on behalf of Black students and the community.
Attend Our Monthly Meetings
Members of the BPSB meet the first Saturday of each month (without fail!), and we invite you to attend to learn and participate in the plans and discussions concerning Black students in the SCUSD. If you haven't already done so, we hope that you attend our meetings, and let us know what your concerns and needs are. We're here to help one another.
First Saturday of each month
Meeting starts at 10 a.m.
4625 44th Street, Ste 5
Sacramento, CA 95820
(Note: our meeting room is in the former Fruitridge Elementary School building.)

Support Our Youth
Over the years BPSB has made strides in monitoring the challenges that African American students face in SCUSD and around the country. We will share more details about our accomplishments in subsequent emails.
In order to help our youth succeed, we need your help as a parent, community organizer, and concerned citizen.
