The Zero Tolerance Youth Leadership Team provides high school students with training in leadership skills, public speaking, presentation, action research,  and policy research. The Youth Leadership Team makes presentation before school boards, legislators and policy experts concerning the challenges of zero tolerance policies and how it affects them and their peers. They work on changing punitive school discipline policies, both locally and throughout the state. The meetings are held on Tuesday’s at 4:00pm.

The Black Parallel School Board (BPSB) is a community organization developed to work parallel to the Sacramento City Unified District Board of Education. Its major responsibility is to support the educational growth and achievement of Black students.
