Our Goals for 2021:

We hope to double the number of scholarships to Black students.

We hope to continue to collaborate with local, regional and statewide partners on building parent and youth power to address the school to prison pipeline.

We hope to transform school districts to a 21st Century Multicultural Learning Communities.

How you can help us reach these goals:

Make a donation today. All contributions are made to our fiscal agent: Sacramento Independent Learning Center, 501 c3.

Make an annual contribution to BPSB by mail. Make check out to: Sacramento Independent Learning Center, 340 Menard Circle, Sacramento, CA 95835. Attn: BPSB.

The Black Parallel School Board (BPSB) is a community organization developed to work parallel to the Sacramento City Unified District Board of Education. Its major responsibility is to support the educational growth and achievement of Black students.
